Zone

A Zone is a construct used to group related resources as well as serve as an attachment point for Roles. The directory structure employed by an OS file-system is a good approximation when thinking about Zones, that is:

• Zones is hierarchical in nature.
• Zones support inheriting from a parent Zone.
• Roles (which contain permissions) may be attached to a Zone.
